Model's Description: White mushroom 3d model contains 12,378 polygons and 6,457 vertices. Quick scan of a mushroom found near Oxford. It belongs to the Agaricus genus. Not sure which species. Based on a total of 228 x 12MP photos, acquired in the field with a smartphone camera in September 2020. Top and bottom sides were scanned and processed separately, requiring manual mesh alignment and UV mixing. Set up as 2 x 4K PBR texture sets. Raw mesh decimated to around 2M vertices, and further retopologized as quads, down to 6.5K. Manual UV unwrapping, with only 7 islands. Tip: switch to Matcap+Surface to have a closer look at the surface details |
