V is for Vanadinite 3D Model |
|
Model's Description: V is for Vanadinite 3d model contains 700,000 polygons and 350,008 vertices. Size: 1 x 1 x 1 cm Formula: Pb5(VO4)3Cl Description: This model represents a floater specimen with stacked blocky Vanadinite crystals (short-prismatic hexagonal crystals). The cluster is nearly equant (1 cm across), doubly-terminated, adamantine luster, and reddish to deep-orange in color. The prismatic faces are incredibly lustrous while the basal faces are a little less so. Vanadinite is an important ore of vanadium (V) and a minor source of the lead (Pb). Vanadinite usually forms where lead minerals are oxidized (as secondary mineral), often in areas with an arid climate. It is commonly associated with the oxidation of galena.
