| Model's Description: Urania Palazzo Altemps 3d model contains 7,869 polygons and 7,878 vertices. Statue of Urania Roman Palazzo Altemps, Rome. Pentelic Marble, Restorations in Carrara marble. This sculpture’s identification as the Muse Urania is due to the modern restorations which added the stylus and globe, attributes of the Muse of astronomy. In addition to the arms and hands, the upper torso and head are restorations. Despite the uncertain identification as Urania, the sculpture is certainly one of a Muse, due to its consistency with other known Muse types - namely the positioning of the legs, drapery, and large rocky seat, serving as a base.
