Model's Description: Wolfgangskirche 3d model contains 955,434 polygons and 479,598 vertices. 3D model of the fortified church of St. Wolfgang on a slope of the Lienberg in Kirchberg am Wechsel. The church was donated by Artolf von Ofenpeck after a dispute with the parish priest of Kirchberg. Construction of the choir began around 1390, the nave was built in the second quarter of the 15th century. Completion took place in 1451. The imposing west front of the Wolfgangskirche was a demonstration of power against the lower-lying and then smaller parish church. In 1782 the church was abandoned and in 1796 it was taken out of consecration. Demolition work with the blasting of the vaults was not profitable and left a ruin. From 1860 to 1862 a reconstruction was made. In 1862 the church was consecrated anew. A fire on 6 April 1918 again left the church in ruins. From 1919 to 1926, work was done to restore the church with plans by the architect Richard Jordan. Restoration work began again in 1971. - Wolfgangskirche - Buy Royalty Free 3D model by noe-3d.at (@www.noe-3d.at) |
