|
Model's Description: West Of Gate South 3d model contains 31,394 polygons and 16,166 vertices. West of Gate South Section 19/20: The West of Gate South of the Western High Gate of Medinet Habu. At some point near the end of the 20th Dynasty, a turbulent time of civil war in ancient Egypt, the temple precinct of Medinet Habu was invaded. At this time several large blocks from the upper courses of the Western High Gate were intentionally toppled and subsequently buried under rubble and debris. Apparently forgotten when the gate was later dismantled and its stone recycled, the blocks in this section and Section 20 were discovered during Hölscher’s initial survey. This is a low poly render built with Agisoft Photoscan **Project: ** The Epigraphic Survey in collaboration with the MoTA - West Of Gate South - 3D model by Chicago House (@chicagohouse) |
