| Model's Description: Transformer 3d model contains 72,722 polygons and 37,199 vertices. A transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy between circuits using electromagnetic induction. It can increase or decrease voltages and currents in power applications. A varying current in the primary winding creates a changing magnetic field, inducing voltage in the secondary winding. The windings are wrapped around a core with high magnetic permeability. In our model, the secondary coil has fewer turns than the primary coil, resulting in a step-down transformer for voltage. This increases the secondary current. If the ratio of primary to secondary coils is high enough, the current can be so large that it melts and welds the ends of the nails together |
