The Wee Kelpies 3D Model |
|
Model's Description: The Wee Kelpies 3d model contains 283,991 polygons and 142,824 vertices. Many people are familiar with the art installationin in the Helix Park, adjacent to the Falkirk Wheel - the large Kelpies - at 30 metres high, they are the world’s largest equine sculptures, created by Andy Scott in 2013. What is less well known is that a mini version of these iconic sculptures, the pre production “maquettes”, some 10 feet high are currently in residence in Ardrishaig at the western end of the Crinnan Canal at the Ardrishaig waterway’s centre. They have been sited there at since 2019 having cantered down from their earlier site in Edinburgh. Although smaller than their full size ‘copies’ they are still a spectacular sight and well worth a look, as with this pair, you can closely observe them! - The Wee Kelpies - 3D model by Smilemaker |
