| Model's Description: "Terrarus" Monster 3d model contains 25,288 polygons and 12,649 vertices. Codenamed Terrarus, the Terra Comedenticus (Earth Eater) is a very deadly omnivoric predator. The Terrarus prefers grazing volcanic plains, as it takes advantage of the mineral rich soil that is abundant in these areas, preying on both the plants that habitat here, as well as any animals that migrate into this region. It burrows itself into the ground in order to appear as nothing more than a mound of rocks, only for it to use it’s extremely strong hind legs to send it rocketing towards it’s target. It has sensory organs all over it’s body, including it’s Proboscis tongue, which it uses to eat. It eats not only meat, but also nutrient rich soil, as well as plants rich in fiber, as it requires quite a diverse diet in order to maintain it’s chitin camouflage armor. It’s main threat is starvation, or eager predators attacking the exposed underbelly of the Terrarus after it’s eaten a full meal, as it’s stomach expands in order to fit large prey |
