Model's Description: Töpferstempel 3d model contains 399,700 polygons and 199,852 vertices. Roman pottery stamp with rosette-shaped pattern. Bronze; l 3,4 cm; w 2,2 cm. In order to produce relief-decorated vessels, the potter first made a positive stamp. This he pressed in any order into the inner wall of a leather-hard dried molded bowl. In this way a negative was created. To produce the relief-decorated bowls, the mold bowl was placed on the potter’s wheel and the soft clay was pressed into the rotating bowl. The rim was then turned on and, after the finished vessel was removed from the mold, the standing ring was added.
