|
Model's Description: Stylobate Lion 3d model contains 99,658 polygons and 51,289 vertices. “Alert and looking toward each other, both lions jealously protect their prey—a lamb in one case and a calf in the other—beneath massive paws. The pair originally supported columns that would have been attached to their backs and probably flanked a small doorway of a church. By the mid-eighteenth century, they were placed at the door of a chapel near the village of Quattro Castella, near Reggio Emilia.” ~ https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/468447 Date: Early 13th century Geography: Made in Reggio Emilia, Northern Italy Culture: North Italian Medium: Limestone (Red limestone) Dimensions: Overall: 26 x 17 7/8 x 25 1/4 in.
