|
Model's Description: Shrine Base, Glasgow Cathedral 3d model contains 430,622 polygons and 215,308 vertices. These arches once formed the base of a tomb or shrine in the early medieval church that is now part of Glasgow Cathedral. It may have been associated with the shrine of St Kentigern, the first bishop within the ancient British kingdom of Strathclyde, who died in 614. Arched structures like this were sometimes used to enclose holy relics so passing pilgrims could see and venerate them.
