Retro-3D Modular PDA 3D Model |
|
Model's Description: Retro-3D Modular PDA 3d model contains 12,394 polygons and 6,101 vertices. An example of a PDA-type unit used by, in this case, a worker repairing and investigating a damaged section of a city on Ganymede after Terran orbital bombardment. These PDAs are ultimately controled by the central unit, which houses the basic authentication module, a small battery, a reasonably powerful processing unit, and a few displays (most of which can be swapped). It has 3 expansion ports. In this example, the bottom port is taken up by an user-interface module, featuring a variant of a chording keyboard, as well as a joystick. The top port is taken up a screen, which also contains addtional RAM modules and a bigger battery. The side port is connected to a stiff ribon cable which is connected to a radiation meter, which is important, as the nuclear bombardment of Ganymede left a large number of sections of the cities dangerously irratiated. The screen, interface, and radiation meter all have their own (currently unused) interface ports, for daisy chaining expandability |
