The bridge originally carried the drive from Armley House, Benjamin Gott’s home, to Kirkstall Road and the mills in the valley below. Nowadays, it is used as a shortcut between Armley and Burley, and some parts of the bridge are falling into disrepair. It is included on the list of heritage buildings at risk in West Leeds |
