| Model's Description: Multi Green Ammonite Fossil 3D Rendered Model 3d model contains 315,486 polygons and 200,812 vertices. Fossils are often a labour of love and this is a good example of that. Sometimes they tell a story too. This ammonite assemblage from the Jurassic green ammonite beds of Charmouth, Dorset seems to have been trapped inside a larger Liparoceras ammonite. However, only pieces of the larger ammonite remain, perhaps as a result of breaking apart from the pressure of the smaller ammonites trapped in the body chamber. There are several different species preserved including Tragyphyloceras, Aegoceras? shells and juvenile ammonite specimens.
