| Model's Description: Metropolis — Cityscape 3d model contains 316,962 polygons and 194,760 vertices. Model of the fictional city of Metropolis, based on an early science fiction movie by Fritz Lang (“Metropolis”, 1927). The central part of the film set was the “New Tower of Babel”, which is surrounded by street canyons with highrise buildings as far as the eye can see. Retrospectively, the film is regarded as one of the great achivements of the silent movie era, influencing many later science fiction films and related artwork |
