Model's Description: Merrick 3d model contains 39,995 polygons and 21,975 vertices. Here is one of my game ready character models completed for a module during my 3rd year at Staffordshire University. I have used 3 x 2048 maps. 1 for the Body, 1 for the Clothes and Rope, 1 for the Accessories and Peg Legs. The final tri count combined is 39,995. The rigging and posing was created by me. This project was completed for my final year project at university. The final year project is slightly different in the duration as the project starts in semester 1 and continues through till the end of semester 2. For the redesign I wanted it to be something that could have easily fit within the game itself. After researching deeper into the character, I found that he was in the game initially and then removed for a period. After this period, he was bought back with a whole new purpose and look, as of this I saw an opportunity to create a new design.
