An original letter from the mother of the deceased soldier to his friend was used to create the model. The young soldier was killed in the first battle with the German Nazis on October 12, 1944. The mother, who lost her only son and husband, was left alone with two daughters. The friend of the deceased, himself a veteran of the war against German Nazism, kept this letter for 77 years as a memory of his deceased friend |
