Model's Description:

Hercules fighting Acheloos, Carbonneaux (1824) 3d model contains 299,999 polygons and 150,019 vertices.

Quick and wild scan in Louvre Museum, 198 shots only without any tripod. Process with Reality Capture. The plaster model was exhibited at the Salon in 1814. The subject is taken from Ovid’s Metamorphoses: Achelous was Hercules’ rival for the love of Dejanery; during the battle, Achelous turned into a snake but was defeated by Hercules. Thus Hercules made himself loved by Déjanire. Later, trying to revive the love he had for him, Déjanire offered Hercules a tunic impregnated with the blood of Nessus which, instead of being a love potion, turned out to be a burning poison
