| Model's Description: Handpainted Axe 3d model contains 1,878 polygons and 941 vertices. Based on Jeff Chen’s ‘Axel the Axe’ concept: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ExNav Process: 1 layer, 1 brush (mostly) and a lot of colour picking. This project really helped to teach me how to loosen up when painting as well as how to choose good colours. I tried to stay as close as possible to the original concept, but I did deviate when I found interesting shapes during the painting process and wanted to keep them.
