Model's Description:

Front carriage 3d model contains 108,754 polygons and 56,254 vertices.

A cannon was made in such a way that it was nearly in balance around the wheel axis. This means that one man could lift a cannon and attach it to a horse-drawn front carriage to transport the cannon. As a 24-pound cannon weighs about 3000 kg, this works well on flat terrain. Getting the cannon up the walls was done with a capstan and a lot of man-power. Volume 3 of the Memores d’artillerie by Surirey de Saint-Remy describes it all in detail. - Front carriage - 3D model by visualdimension
