Model's Description:

"Fantastic Voyage" Film-Set 3d model contains 89,064 polygons and 46,297 vertices.

Remake of one of the film sets from the 1966 science fiction movie “Fantastic Voyage”. The film is about a submarine crew who shrink to microscopic size and venture into the body of an injured scientist to repair the damage to his brain. The submarine featured in the film, the “Proteus U-91035”, is a nuclear-powered Navy vessel, originally built to study the deep-sea spawning habits of fish. The particular scene, depicted in this model, takes place inside the CMDF headquarters, where (in the film) the Proteus is introduced to the viewer for the first time. The novel “Fantastic Voyage” was written by Isaac Asimov. The Proteus was designed by Harper Goff, who also created the Nautilus for the movie ‘20.000 Leagues Under the Sea’. This scene includes additional props created by Sketchfab users Kuro (forklift), Johnathon Goswick (boxes) and prithamanimation (ladder)
