Model's Description: Cambridge University Library C16 medical model 3d model contains 602,726 polygons and 302,088 vertices. Box containing a boxwood écorché ( a drawn or sculpted model showing the body with the skin removed to reveal the muscle structure) and miniature ivory skeleton was presented to the University Library in 1591 by John Banister, a leading London surgeon who delivered lectures to the Barber-Surgeons’ Company and published a number of influential treatises.
