|
Model's Description: Bony Landmarks of the Head 3d model contains 607,664 polygons and 305,639 vertices. If you study the model closely you will see that a significant portion of the human head is constructed by bony landmarks (substantially more than the rest of the body!). The bones visible in the anterior view of the head are the Frontal, Nasal, Maxilla (upper portion), Zygomatic and Temporal Bone and the Lower Part of the Jaw bone (Mandible). Meanwhile in the lateral view you can also identify the Temporal bone, and at the back of the head the Parietal and Occipital bone. Don’t forget to pay close attention to the skin and skull relationship and how the underlying bony landmarks (highlighted in red) drive the overlying soft tissue and skin |
