Model's Description: Blaschka Sea Anemone 3d model contains 208,719 polygons and 106,924 vertices. Model SC-51 of the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology Collection of Blaschka Marine Invertebrates. This is an ~ 4-inch glass model of a sea anemone (“Phymactis pustulata”). This species of anemone is found in the Western South Atlantic, living in intertidal zones. The glass model was made by the father-and-son team Rudolf and Leopold Blaschka in the late 1800s. Originally made as educational models, they are now in collections in over 50 institutions including Cornell, the Corning Glass Museum, Harvard and University College, Dublin.
