| Model's Description: Black Lion w/ 3 LOD 3d model contains 34,966 polygons and 17,487 vertices. Sculpture located at the gates of “Shree Padmavhati mahabihar” in Kathmandu. Two of them are installed at the gate to guard the temple. Since Newars,an important cultural community residing in Kathmandu were historical inhabitants of kathmandu valley and were buddhist, one of the major elements of this branch of Buddhism is “Mahavihara”. These monasteries generally are built in a courtyard and are about two storeys tall.. they are found to be built from 12th to 15th century. Many of these mahaviharas are listed as historical monuments of Nepal. Model created in reality capture.
