| Model's Description: Betty Bomber 3d model contains 287,541 polygons and 132,946 vertices. The Mitsubishi G4M has an interesting history and is an interesting dive. See the Sunken Media. project page for details. The exact cause of the crash is still in debate - it is located near the runway with the engines around 80m from the wreck. The debate is around whether it encountered some kind of mechanical issues just after take-off and crashed while attempting to turn back or whether it was on the way back and the engines skimmed along the water surface on impact. It is a fun wreck to dive to work through these theories - a rendered version of the high res model is on this link |
