Model's Description: Bes Figurine: Bolton Museum Collection 3d model contains 64,000 polygons and 31,998 vertices. An ancient Egyptian standing figure of the god Bes from the Roman Period (30BC - 395AD) from the collection of Bolton Library and Museum Services. Bes is shown naked with legs apart, hands on hips and leonine mane and ears. On top of his head is a five plumed headdress. The figurine was excavated by B.P. Grenfell at Oxyrhynchus and donated to the Bolton Library and Museum Services Collection by the Egypt Exploration Fund.
