Plough marks in trench 070 AF can clearly be seen as crop-marks in the dry pasture this is depite the fact that the plough marks result from ploughing using a land breaking plough durimg WWII they are visible today in this field that has subsequently only been ploughed to shallow depths and has not been plought at all for the last 8 years |
